Charlie Brown in this and Matt is Linus. In other words, Sierra should
look troubled.
MATT
I saw you on the news today.
SIERRA (depressed looking):
Wow. Cool.
Panel 2
Matt looks at Sierra curiously.
MATT
What’s wrong?
SIERRA
Oh, nothing really. It’s just I think this hero thing is starting to
cause me some trouble. Dad got hurt. The pres is making it really hard
to keep my identity secret. And I’m out of money.

MATT
Cheer up. Your dad’s going to be fine. The press is so stupid they
think that Portman girl could be you. And you can get a job to get money.
SIERRA:
Yeah, but where?

MATT
Well, my uncle’s hiring. You can get a job from him no prob.
SIERRA
But doesn’t your uncle own...

day. She should probably have her mask on, but otherwise she’s wearing
normal clothes.

Wow, today certainly was interesting, to say the least.
I can’t believe Cristy’s going to be a mom. She’s only fifteen. Wow.
And I told her my biggest secret. Up until now, Matt was the only one
who knew. ‘Course, it probably helped Cristy out a bit. She seemed pretty
stressed when she was telling me about her pregnancy.

Sierra lands on the front porch.
CAPTION
You know, it’s interesting I never picked up her thoughts with my telepathy.
Then again, it is rather new. Wish there was someone I could get advice
about it from.

In case you’re wondering who I am... sorry, that’s something you can’t
be told.

However, I can tell you who you are, or, more specifically, where your
powers came from.

On July 5th, 1947, an alien space craft crash landed in the deserts
of Roswell, New Mexico.

off three aliens in stretchers.
SHAWN
In that ship, there were three extra terrestrial life forms. All but
one died on impact.

The remaining alien was dying fast. In order to allow for study after
its death, scientists took a sperm sample and locked it up in a vault at

military aircrafts. However, it quickly became the worlds first top-secret
alien research center.

One of the tests conducted was to see if cross-breeding was possible.
Apparently it was. However, of the three women they used, two died during
their third trimester.

normal” baby. She should be smiling.
SHAWN
She gave birth to an apparently normal child. Due to the lack of DNA
testing and the fact that the blood type matched the mother’s and not the
alien’s, they let her go with the child. They believed she had become pregnant
from a normal
man.
That child was you.
